The Sugar Land Sharks Scholarship Foundation (SLSSF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation associated with the Sugar Land Sharks Swim Team. Each year we award a scholarship to an active member of the Sharks family to be used toward their college expenses.

Application Guidelines

Application ​Deadline:

Wednesday, JUNE 24, 2026 by MIDNIGHT

Submission:

If your application is submitted after June 24th, 2026,  it will be LATE and not considered. 

Application Review:

Applications MUST be RECEIVED by MIDNIGHT on June 24th, 2026 and will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee, appointed by the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The recipient(s) will be announced at the End-of-Year Sharks party.

Eligibility:

​To receive the scholarship, the award recipient(s) must submit proof that he/she has graduated from high school and has enrolled as a student in an accredited college, university, or vocational training. Recipients are not eligible to reapply for the scholarship.
